No.
Being a Christian isn't about attaining some level of morality, spirituality, or sincerity that is acceptable to God. In fact, God says all such efforts are like a pile of filthy rags to him.

A real Christian is when you really believe and faithfully, truly, ask God to come into your heart. You believe that Jesus is the son of God and Jesus died on the cross that ours sins would be forgiven, and he arose on the 3rd day for our salvation. Pray sincerely when you invite Him in.
Try to fulfill His will and study the Bible and attend church to learn more. Areal Christian really wants to learn about our God.
Remember we are all sinners, but when we have been saved and invited God in we know where to go to ask forgiveness.
No one is really worthy of God's love, who gave His only son for us.

seems like morality should have surpassed the old superstitious god idea by now . like slavery and persecution because of sexual orientation or witch hunts the old god is dead and should be kept that way.More important one should ask if morality is acceptable to mankind there is no god that cares about morality .

It makes absolutely no difference to me as to whether I'm considered a Christian or not. I know the God of my understanding and I know He is an all loving God.

One could never really be acceptable to God. We are all sinners. We all stumble and fall short of the glory of God. Peace

You are a Christian if, and ONLY IF, you have entered into the covenant of the New Testament for the salvation of your eternal soul thru Jesus, Son of the one true God.
It really IS that simple.

No. To be a Christian you must believe that Jesus was the Messiah and the redeemer of humankind to God.
Salvation is a different thing altogether...

I don't see why you wouldn't be. Are you Christ like, or trying to be?
