You will not find that kind of evidence. :)

There is NO evidence for the existence of 'god'.
Why is that?
The most likely answer is that there are no invisible sky critters in existence.
If you remember how prevalent he seemed to be in the OT and now *poof* nothing.
He either died or never was.
Martin Luther: Reason is the greatest enemy that faith has; it never comes to the aid of spiritual things, but... more frequently than not... struggles against the divine Word, treating with contempt all that emanates from God.
Marty got that right, didn’t he?
Faith and Reason just don’t mix.
Ben Franklin: The way to see by faith is to shut the eye of reason.
PJ O’Rourke: Religion isn’t really about anyone’s soul; it is, and always has been, simply about social control. Fundamental religion, of any stripe, is generally more concerned with keeping the faithful in line rather than keeping the faith.
Faith is what your preacher says you must have so that you’ll believe all the other stuff he wants to tell you.

No one, philosopher or scientist can prove the nonexistence of god, nor can they prove the existence and be able to demonstrate. We see that every day.
The closer modern physicists gets to the minute, the microcosm of inner space and/or God. On the other end of the spectrum, those who peer into space, see the macrocosm, the same thing.
For a skeptic (scientist) new mysteries and enigmas are created the more they discover. For a believer the view of God is seen in the cosmos micro and macro No reason/proof needed.
Science is not consensus of likes. It is an exploration for answers. Those with large egos deny the existence, those humbled see the connection, that the macrocosm is inside the microcosm.
Whats the question?? Have a great night.

There is evidence just prior to the pagan beliefs, You can believe what ever you want, but the truth is man created God and religion as we know it today, this was done to appease the people at that time in order to explain the unexplainable, and from there a monster was born a religious system that has oppressed mankind ever since, violence, greed for wealth, and power to control, one dose not need a great deal of intelligence to see what is really happening with religion today.

Most people will argue that they have some form of "evidence" but that doesn't make either side right. You can disprove the existence of anything if you really try. Once, my geometry teacher gave a speech that disproved the existence of squares, and no one could prove that they did exist because we didn't have any "evidence." But that doesn't mean she was right.

Logic does not apply to illogical statements.
That is about as simply as I can state it.
You can't even find a real definition of God, so how can you even have a clue about what you are attempting to prove or disprove.
Some people say God does not exist to get the believers all excited.
Some say it as a definite fact based on the idea of of it being demonstrated by a lack of evidence
I say it because the word has no objective meaning.
When you find a description or working definition of God that we can examine and test, get back to me and we can work on it.
Until then, God does not exist.
And that is what IGNOSTICISM is about for those who don't get it yet.

The lack of compelling evidence FOR the existence of a god(ess) is enough for me.
BTW you can't prove a negative. Prove to me that the earth isn't orbiting around the sun due to the efforts of very strong alien beings pushing on it.
Prove to me that leprechauns don't exist.

The answer to this question depends on what one emphasises.
If one emphasise the existence or non-existance of God, one will never find an answer.
However, if one emphasises the veracity and efficacy of God's laws and recommendations, then there is solid evidence to support this.
For example, after giving the ten commandments in the Bible, Moses said adhering these commandments will lead to one's prosperity and happiness. Therefore, if we examine the world around us and/or examine our own lives, we will see people who murder, steal, are dishonest, are sexually promiscuous, are greedy, have drug and alcohol addictions (sorry..that is a bit of Buddhism), etc, live unhappy, problematic, unpeaceful, agitated, fearful lives.
Similarly, if we follow the recommendations of Jesus, which are about developing a mind with spiritual virtues such as non-violence, non-hatred, universal love, forgiveness, charity, etc, we can prove for ourselves that these mental qualities bring happiness and well-being to life rather than suffering.
Or such as those who need and genuinely believe "Jesus loves them, forgives them and is their everfaithful friend", for these people the joy that arises is proven.
Further, those who have some kind of religious belief regarding death, will not suffer all of the fear and confusion that many people suffer when death occurs to themselves or their loved ones. Whilst there are many religious views regarding death, at least religious people have pondered and prepared themselves for this essential matter.
To conclude, one can never prove the existence or non-existance of God. However, each person for themselves through their own intuitive insight can prove the veracity and efficacy of God's commandments or recommendations, just as one can prove that putting one's hand in a fire burns.
One can easily prove that heaven and hell exist in this life. Many peoples hearts and minds are burning in the fires of hell, of anguish, despair, heartbreak, fear, confusion, addiction, hatred, imprisonment, untrustworthiness, loneliness, unemployment and so forth. This happens when basic universal ethics found in all religions are not followed.
However, if heaven and hell exists in an afterlife, this is a matter of faith and cannot be proven. At night we dream. The mind creates and imagines many things. Even those who have near death experiences were merely subject to the imaginings of the mind's creations. These do not prove or disprove an afterlife.

Which one, the Biblical one?? Yes, we know for certain the earth is older than 6,12,000 years old. That is scientific fact that can be observed through many different laws and facts. We know for sure there have been several mass extinctions in our planets history.
And many other things that make the literal taking of the Bible impossible. Of course if you want to view it metaphorically, no, I can not prove it wrong anymore than I could prove any other archetype that could come out of the human mind wrong.

Who has solid evidence on the nonexistence of leprechauns? The problem is, if something actually doesn't exist, you really can't prove it other than to appeal to ordinary standards of evidence.
