I'm a man. So, should I follow the recipe book or should I wing it out to the quarterback and let her decide?

Personally, I prefer to make it up as I go... but everything seems to taste like ketchup.

Should I avoid using ketchup in all my cooking? Is it bad for us?

ketchup itself has moderate health benefits, as it contains lycopene, an antioxidant associated with decreased cancer risk. But it usually also contains added sodium and sugar...So maybe you could just place a few tomatos in a ziplock and take a sledge hammer to it and make your own...

....naahh...just use "Hunts"..it was always good enough for Fred Mcmurray and his three sons.

Ketchup is OK when doing sauce but yes it is bad. it contains high sodium (salt), and sugar. If the tomato taste is what you want replace ketchup for fresh tomatoes. Try to boil water dip fresh tomatoe for few of seconds just to cook the skin then let it sit for another few seconds. Then peel the skin off and you can use it in any way. Experimenting taste and getting creative is good Well good luck

Its good to follow some recipes on the book, but its better to do it with your instinct. i think not all recipes call for a ketchup, but if does try using tomato sauce instead, it taste good and its healthy too.

yea....dont use ketchup in everything...haha lol...like what I do is follow the recipy first try then if I decide to make it again I can add or take away what I want and then decide witch one I like best...like alot of times...I take basic recipies and make them seem better...like I made this noodle dish that used to make and I added chicken....and olives...and some other stuff and it came out really nice...soo goodluck...but not too muck ketchup....after a while ketchup seems gross...if u eat it everyday...

I recipe is just a guide to know what to use to make something, but you can play around with different spices to make it your own. Ketchup is not a spice, but a condiment, so hide it and try something different once.

Try A1 it's much more tangier than ketchup. I use it in my meatloaf instead of ketchup.
