About Half an hour ago my sister hit the side of my head with a wooden pole really really hard. When she did this, it left a bad cut right next to my eye, and halfway obliterated my glasses. On Monday, I am going to have to wear an eyepatch over my damaged eye, and tape all over my glasses, because my new glasses won't come for over two weeks.
How do I cope with this humiliation??? I cant stay home, because my parents woudn't take "If I go to school on monday, I will die of humiliation!" as an excuse
P.S. My sister didn't even get in trouble at all for what she did. I know that totally sucks.

Why would you be embarrased. About a zillion people will be all over you asking what happened and you can tell them what a rotten sister you have. lol. Anyway, just think of all the sympathy you will be getting from those really cute guys you have been wanting to take notice of you. Tell them you should see the other person I boxed last night man they got it worse then I did. Or, I am getting my bionic eye replaced as I didn't want to look at your grungy underwear anymore with my xray vision. Make up something funny. Just be thankful you did not lose your eye. As far as your parents not getting mad at your sister, it depends if it was an accident that happened during an argument or just a blantent attack.

Poop happens. Joke if anyone teases and tell them the eye that isn't covered is your evil eye and they's better watch out. Make it a fashion statement and go get colored electrical tape and totally tape that side from the nose out. You have to wear a patch anyway so it's not like you are using that side to see out of. Usually new glasses come in sooner than what they tell you and it wouldn't hurt to call them and ask if they can put a rush on it. As far as the tape you can get it at Target, Walmart or any store like that and it comes in all the primary colors.

make light of it - it is not that bad and it happens. Life happens. I caught my heel in my pant leg at work the other day and had to staple my pants together and even had to conduct meetings like that. Just passed it off when someone asked that my shoes attacked my pants - had a little fight and the shoes won.

With your situation, just tell people the truth, that your sister was being obnoxisious and hit you with a pole and the pole won. You may even want to decorate the eye patch and color coordinate it with your outfits or something. Make it an accessory.

You will not die of humiliation and it will teach you how to handle more - trust me, been in your situation and have lived and learned to laugh about it.

Just tell people that you are testing out your halloween costume early. I wear glasses too, so I know how you feel, but you just have to go with the flow, laugh it off, try not to be embarrassed about it... I once got hit right smack in the face with a spiked volleyball... ouch.. and way back then, it took longer than a week to get new glasses.

I can see why the glasses would embarass you. Just tell your teacher your glasses broke, or if it hurts when you wear them tell your teacher that. You can't help having to wear an eyepatch so I don't see whats so funny about it. Just tell people you have an injury. Good luck and hope your eye heals soon.

regrettably you may not get rid of cellulite. it extremely is connective tissue that lays over the fat and is hooked as much as the muscle groups below... think of a duvet, 2 factors are sewn jointly, with the "filler" in between. some individuals are dispositioned to it extra so than others. Its not something to be ashamed off... maximum human beings (women and adult adult males human beings) do have it! Even athletes.

Eh, dont' worry about it, I've gone to school with embarrassing problems like that. You might as well make the best of it, show you can handle it, and wear a peg leg and pirate costume as well.

Accidents happen to people. I don't think that a lot of people will laugh at you, they'll feel bad something happened to hurt you. If people are callous enough to laugh at you you don't want to be friends with those people anyway.

just own the fact of what happened and people shouldn't be too bad. just tell people you're trying out a halloween costume. if they say anything just dismiss it or ignore it. people can be jerks but if you don't look like you care they won't.
