The only "cramming" that's being done is through media and word of mouth. This is a free country, and Atheists don't seem to respect the fact that religion DOES exist. If they don't like it they can just ignore it, like people of faith ignore THEM. If you go to a public place, you HAVE no right of privacy. You can and will be sought out by religious doctrine.
Psh. I'm starting to think people with no faith have no MATURITY either.

It is hardly imaginary when more that 60% of the population says they would not vote for a atheist regardless of their politics. There are laws on the books in some states that atheists are not even allowed to run for public office.
While they might not proslaize to you, I would guarntee there are some who will have antisemetic remarks behind your back.

So the fact that in some states its illegal for an atheist to hold a public office isn't the least bit biased? Doesn't that go against the Constitution? Because that sounds like discrimination to me.

I just saw an interview with george w in which he said that billy graham influenced his decision to run fro president. that's not imaginary.
as far as imaginary persecution is concerned, i thought you christians had the monopoly on that.
nobody has tried to cram jesus down your throat because i suspect they are too busy running from you to avoid the same fate

If we consider ourselves Christians, Jesus only left us with two suggestions for dealing with Atheists.
First He ask us not to judge them.
Secondly He ask us to love our neighbor.
Atheists are our neighbors.
End of discussion.
Love and blessings Don

There are 13 states that have laws on the books that prevent us from holding public office. That includes my home state of Texas.
