i am going to be getting a puppy from some people they arent ready to go yet but i was wondering what are some good names?

Kodiak, Timber, Nanuck and I think I'd look at the different cities in Alaska. It would be pretty cool to name him after his roots. Ataneq means king in one of the Alaskan languages.

McKinley, he's a Malamute from one of my favorite dog books. The Good Dog, by Avi.
Even if you don't name him that, I do recommend the book :)

Balto!Name belonged to the lead sled dog at the Great Serum to Nome.I know he was a siberian husky, but it is still a good name.

what is he like. whats his personality like. what does he look like. name a dog based on his looks or personality. wait until u have a few days to spend with him. he will show u what his name should be.
