It's like, 'Ragu' or something similar... has been over a week since i first opened it... do you think it's safely consumable?

Only a day, possible two. If you have any extra after opening the can store in in glass, plastic or even a zip lock baggie and freeze the darn stuff! The acids in the sauce make it go bad faster!

First I'd check the bottle for more information some products will tell you like frosting it tell you no more then two weeks. Some products are different then others such as jelly, jams, and dressing ect.... if your sauce has meat in it I would recommend no longer then 4 days but spaghetti sauce is usually just tomato paste and spices I would say to the expiration date.

Spaghetti sauces don't last that long even in the fridge once it is opened. It really smells bad. Mold forms on top.

dont leave ANYTHING in a can in the fridge, when it is open and has sat for a few days you can get poisoning from the metals of the can seeping into the sauce. just pour it into a tupperware container and you will be fine and not have to worry about how long it will last. if it is ragu it is prob in a glass jar and you dont have to worry about how long it can stay in the fridge

Rugu.. will last in a jar for a week, no doubt..
maybe a little longer if u had the top on tight..

Never leave anything in a tin can once it has been opened.. .. pour left overs, into another container..use w/in 10 days..
freeze.... use within 1-2 weeks.. ..

U should be fine.. taste of it before heating it .. then have a great dinner...

First, you NEVER put an opened can in the fridge. You always transfer the extra into a tupperware container. In the fridge, toxins are released through the can and it contaminates the food. Throw it out immediately.

I would not eat any thing left in the fridge in a can!If it was left in the fridge in a suitable container,in the fridge like tupperware or something like that 3 days at max.

definitely after a week- it's still OK. I go by the smell test usually. But you shouldn't store things in the can in the fridge. They get that canny taste. And I'm sure it's bad for you.

Tomato sauce grows bacteria pretty fast... after you open it and refrigerate it, it's only food for a few days. Freeze it next time.
