Hi - to start off with, please be aware that I am not interested in such answers or comments trying to persuade me to seek medical help or to get a perscription for anti-depressants! I am purely interested in your thoughts and own stories, on ways to fight the bad 'sadness demon'.

Now I'm sure most of you go through this at least some of the time - you're having a pretty boring/stressful day at home or work, and all of a sudden you find yourselves thinking bad thoughts about life and/or your peers.

What are some of the tecniques you guys use, to stop yourselves from falling into depression when you realise you are starting to spiral?

Lets see, getting plenty of sleep helps but not too much sleep! Excersise also stimulates the proper nurotransmitters you need to "feel good"! If you are having issues with sleep take the caffine out of your diet if you are drinking sodas or coffee or tea replace them with water, caffine free drinks. Be sure to have at least one good friend you can talk to about any and everything! Everyone needs someone thats a good listener in their life! I hope that helps you some. But I will say sometimes medication does help, I've been there before but mine was for General Anxiety and Panic Attacks but those are different issues...too!

The first time depressive starts crying for no reason, later on you know what is coming. The chemicals are pouring into the spinal fluid from the upper brain as you remember bad hopes. They are erased again and again as you fight to keep your beliefs about life and sex. The oldest simplest way is to get sex endorphins to counter balance. Some don't have access to such. Then you can use a geographical cure or even just a movie with emotional pressure releases to counter your pain from lost hopes. Old friends say the same old things and you must avoid them. One new friend will have much to offer and help you see the stumbling blocks in your life. Of course alcohol and street drugs are used but without learning the facts of life you will be hurt again.

I tend to keep myself busy thinking about and doing other things when it is possible.

Depression used to be my flat feeling - the "neutral" feeling - for many years. I guess a positive result of that is that I have come to be very strong against the depression current - it takes a lot more to get me depressed today then it idid yesterday. This may also come for you with experience. While it in the short-term was very overwhelming, made me a not so fun person to be around, and eliminated the need to get angry when needed (I was taken advantage of because no one could bring me lower than I already was); it in the long term has made me a stronger person. When you don't get depressed, you don't need to worry as much about finding a way to negate the feeling. The way I got there was by just putting up with the depression until it became so regular that it no longer existed.

I wouldn't recommend this, though. Do the first.

i've got faith it relies upon on what you classify as a "deep melancholy." important Depressive illness is an exceedingly serious ailment. indications contain: - undesirable urge for nutrients or overeating - insomnia or hypersomnia - low capability or fatigue - low vanity - undesirable concentration or concern making judgements - thoughts of hopelessness those indications might could final a 365 days with none alleviation to categorise as important Depressive illness with none indications of Bipolar or Schizoaffective illness. you may properly be experiencing a "situational melancholy" it extremely is just some or each and all of the above indications as a results of a minimum of a few thing occurring on your existence at the instant. medicine can not stunning this, yet some communicate therapy will. maximum depressions are as a results of a chemical imbalance, which may be dealt with with anti depressants. So, extremely it relies upon on what variety of melancholy you're experiencing, if I have been you i might pass see a psychiatrist, not your loved ones wellbeing care expert. A psychiatrist will understand which variety of melancholy you're experiencing and could have the skill to prescribe you the stunning therapy- be it pharmacological or only communicate therapy. the priority with going to your loved ones wellbeing care expert is they could %. the main familiar antidepressant and prescribe you that. another component i think of that I could strengthen is organic medicine. they say St. John's Wort enables melancholy. the difficulty is that herbals are actually not regulated via the fda and might positioned fairly plenty despite they want of their pills. they don't take care of chemical imbalances, so in case you have a scientific style of melancholy r/t chemical imbalances they'll do not something for you.

Sometimes I think that things can be worse, and I try to be thankful for the things I have - rather than the things I want; usually though I try to hook up with a friend - I find that they help me through the sadness demon and they help me fight it off. I know this is a Cliche but trying to remain positive and calm helps too.

seek him with all your heart and you will find him.

he loves you so much ,he loves you more than you love yourself more than anyone .
