Atheists, do you believe that it would be a good idea that a book that holds the general beliefs as a guide to atheism would be a good idea... or do you believe that the text would limit the beliefs of an atheist? If you believe it is good, what do you think would be neccesary to have in our "bible." If not, why?

Thanks much

Athiesm isn't a very complex topic though, and I don't think it requires a guide like the Bible. They are just guides aren't they? I'm not sure how much more you can limit the belief of someone already athiest. I'm sure we can go into extreme depth about atheism and write it all down, but then we have a bible.
I think a great part of atheism is it encourages, no it almost depends on free thinkers of spirituality. Or we could go the other way, and say it relies upon those who have faith in nothing and are incapable of loosening control. A book though?... interesting question, though I don't think I have answered it.

Being American, i assume I do experience the could label myself. the priority is i don't possibly understand what label that is. i assume i must be an Atheist as i don't have faith in "God" and the bible. I see that as in basic terms a fairytale with existence instructions, very like Grimm's' fairy-thoughts in case you will. yet I do have faith especially, properly particularly some, Pagan ideals. and that i'm very scientific in my thinking besides. i think of issues may be extra useful without the labels yet every person needs to categorize every person so according to hazard there must be an "undetermined" area for human beings like me.

Opinion 7, and the existence of people who don't believe in Santa proves that Santa exists.

Atheists don't share beliefs aside from a disbelief in deities, so no.

They make that book now without a title on the cover. It also is filled with blank pages. Some stores market them under the title of "Journal".

A book of five words. I don't believe in gods. Seems not worth the paper.

It is very hard to stretch one requirement into a book.

All the atheist bible could say is:

Do not have any beliefs in any god/s.

That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

We have laws, social order, morals. Why would we need anything else?
