A 3.5L(V-6) will get about 17-19 city, 21-23 fwy...(real world driving)

Well I get about 25mpg in stop and go traffic and about 31-32 mpg on the highway. I just make sure that I put octane 93 in it. Also check your tire pressure too if its to high or low it will effect your gas mileage I keep mine at 35psi all around. And after every oil change I put a fuel injector cleaner as well. Some Altima 3.5 manual trans owners brag 27 miles a gallon and with that large gas tank you could drive almost 600miles between fillups. I don't know about you I have to take a "P" break at about 300 miles and walk around.

My grandmother's 3.5 is getting her at worst 19 in stop and go, and 26-27 at highway speeds.

I ask owners that question and they report between 18mpg and 25 mpg.It depends on what size shoe you wear.
