I agree with your_star_03's answer:

A set of common beliefs and practices to a group of people.

People say it is a way to find God, it is a belief in a higher power etc....Organized religion is the common belief and pracitce....

However, some Scientologists consider their group a religion tell me where the God part comes in there? They talk about enlightenment and a supreme being, what about religions who think you can BECOME God?

There are many religions out there, but they are just that a group of people with a comon belief. You can only get into Heaven through Jesus Christ.

A religion is a set of common beliefs and practices generally held by a group of people, often codified as prayer, ritual, and religious law. Religion also encompasses ancestral or cultural traditions, writings, history, and mythology, as well as personal faith and mystic experience. Religion can be defined as "gullible" or "incoherent". The term "religion" refers to both the personal practices related to communal faith and to group rituals and communication stemming from shared conviction.

Religion is man made. There is many man made rules with religion. The only truth is the Bible and a personnel relationship with Jesus. I am a Baptist, and I am proud of it, but being a Baptist won't get me into heaven. God bless you.

A way of life!

It has got nothing to do with God.

For example, Buddhism is silent on the existence of God.
