Soft green is a great color because it compliments many colors and gives you a calming feeling. If you have a new house you should choose a soft white for the trim to make your house look more established. If you have an older home, bright white trim will make it look new and fresh. You should also add an accent color for your front door or shutters.
The best thing to do is go to your home store and pick swatches of colors you like and hold them all together and start eliminating till you find what you like best.

First you have to know if you have an association that would determine what colors you are able to paint your home. Most homes in Florida are done in stucco and use creams, whites, and soft pastels. They must be doing something right.

Robin's egg blue or light grape green, either with white trim. Any other color is warm -- red, yellow, terra cotta -- all warm colors. Only alternative solution I can think might work, a pale yellow with royal blue trim.

Pale blue of course, or a lovely light green, with white trimmings.
Lucky you, wish I lived in Florida.

A pale blue would be nice or a Bermuda pink. I love the pink houses in Bermuda with their white roofs. Good luck!
