1) gotta love a country named after a funny bird. they don't even seem to mind.
2) troy.
3) they have a parliamentary gov't. pretty cool considering the typical gov't in that area of the world is one guy screaming at the top of his lungs and a bunch of people re-loading AK-47s.

This is the job of the Turkish foreign minister, not mine.
But I could give it a try...)
1. That Turkey is the only Muslim nation with a true democratic constitution that is constantly improving and as such the only modern Muslim nation that offers hope.
2. That Turkey is open to global economy, foreign investments and international business. Open and ready as never before.
3. As such, Turkey offers stability to the region of the middle east: This nation serves as a focal point for both western and eastern cultures to meet. No other country than Turkey can sit comfortably with both East and West.
4. That despite valid protests on human rights, Kurds have more rights now than they ever had before.
5. And that "genocides", Islamophobia or Turkophobia will never contribute to peace and prosperity in the greater region.
6. That Turks keep trying despite West's opposition, superstition and lack of vision.

Lots of people from different cultures, ethnics, religions live in Turkey peacefully. Isn't this something to be proud of?
And we have really delicious cuisine. I have never seen a tourist who visits our country and doesn't like our foods.
Also we have a bunch of beautiful landscapes here. If you want to see some naturally beautiful areas, you should definitely visit our country.
Do you know any country that can offer you a trip from Asia to Europe in a few hours? If not then Turkey is the only choice for you.
PS: To the person who is concerned about our name. We don't mind it because we don't call our country as 'Turkey' we call it 'Türkiye'. It's just the name in English language! I hope you're smart enough to get it.

From what I shop seeing in the information, analyzing in the paper, responses from human beings, this is like Turkey has held the Christian international hostage or something. or maybe this Armenian Genocide subject wasn't a probability to end Turkey from going into Northern Iraq. in spite of the undeniable fact that there is no longer something new approximately how Turkey usually freaks out, I mean as quickly as occasion of anti-turkishness and all hell breaks loose. is this the form of united states of america we certainly could desire to place self belief in? are not there bases in Kuwait we are able to apply? what approximately in 2003? we had no complications invading iraq on the same time as turkey grow to be denying bases. Turkey does what Turkey needs in spite of if united statesa. likes it or no longer. i come across it humorous how in 2000 GWB stated he might comprehend the genocide, repeatedly and over returned. I additionally locate it humorous why maximum persons commplain as to why they could desire to care approximately something that ensue ninety years flow? Oh right this is a information flash, maximum of united statesa. has a faith reported as christianity, that's a number of thousand years previous. Why do we nonetheless draw on the factor of that? regrettably, i dont understand what form of excuse this makes for something of the international.

That face would show that muslims can live in the 21st century unbound by superstitions. It would admit to its past errors. It would stop forcing Kurds to bow down to it. It would embrace monogamy. Finally, it would hold a mirror up to the United States so that it could see its many flaws as well.
