I like it a lot and I think it says a lot. We must take care of ourselves (and each other of course) and we must do what we can to stay away from the rocks no matter how much we believe in God being here for us.

It is bad advice.
You should call upon God before you ever get anywhere near the rocks.
Are the rocks because you didn't walk with God?
And walking with God there is no need to fear the rocks.
No, your quote is very bad advice.

Trust in God, but tie up your camel.
We can have faith in God, but at the same time we must do sensible and practical things in this world.

"Words of Wisdom"
"Believe in God, don't pretend to believe in God, for it's the pretending that gets man into so much trouble."
"God also helps those that help themselves."
These two sayings, go hand in hand!

It's good. You always need a plan B, but in this case Plan B is the best plan A.
