I pray for a lot of general things each night: forgiveness, flee from temptation, help with repentance, love, good health, safety, the Spirit, revival, spiritual protection, my enemies, my family, healing, and comfort.

Specific prayers are generally for someone struggling with a problem or a current social dilemma, I guess that would be for healing for a guy I know who recently got messed up in a car crash.

Oh yeah, on Thursday I prayed for a lady walking alongside of the highway who looked like she had fallen on hard times, I just prayed she would be comforted by someone that night in conversation.

I prayed for healing for my grandma and to keep protection over my son and to thank Him for allowing my son to be at my grandma when she fell. I also prayed for my church and the national GSA conference that will begin Monday evening. I also thanked my Heavenly Father for loving me and dying for me.

I prayed for control over my facial features .... I wanted to laugh at my little 4 year old as she imitated a lady doing opera on TV. But I knew that if I laughed, even if it was because it was so incredibly precious to me, that my little patootie would be mad because I laughed.

At my son's cross country race today I prayed really hard. I did not see him at the mile and a half mark. It was wet and sprinkling. I worried that he had fallen or hurt himself somehow. I waited and never saw him pass. I went to the finish line and saw him make his 'personal record' for the 3 mile race. I was so relieved. I guess he ran by so fast I didn't see him. :)

I prayed about noon. For the mercy of God on the whole world. I prayed the Divine Mercy.

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

For God to bless the food I was eating and the hands that prepared it and that it wouldn't cause any harm to me.
