satan, who was once called lucifer who was the most beautiful of all Gods creation got big headed and thought he was wiser and even more beautiful that God who created him, so therefore God cast him away and the third of the angels that follwed satan, then called lucifer down to the earth but he does have excess to the presence of God but cannot be rejoined with him because of his fall from grace, now satan, the devil is angry with God and hates him and all of the rest of Gods creation especially man, he comes not but for to steal kill and destroy us, therefore God wants us to know of him satan so that we can know who God is and why he has allowed satan to exist so long, but the end is near for satan, when the actual fallen ones appear on earth in physical form Jesus Christ himself will destroy satan, the anti-christ and the false prophet with the brightness of his coming, the only way for satan to win is for you to not let Jesus Christ into your heart and let Christ guide your life. Jesus loves us and wants us to be delivered from the evil forces and powers of satan and not to be taken in by his worldly deceit.

What do we know for sure? Let's see:
Satan WAS an angel. He rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven. I believe a third of the angels went with him.
He lives in some place other than heaven. Probably in what we call Hell.
He also has great, great influence over the Earth. I think somehwere in the Bible it says that Satan is the God of this age.
He is out to influence humans to turn away from God. He does this in many ways which are visible and invisable. He hopes no one goes to Heaven.
The Bible contains various stories where demons (probably fallen angels) possess humans. Jesus also had a personal confrontation with Satan.
So I think that basicaly outlines the Devil's plan. Is it revenge. I would say so. Does he believe himself to be God? That is unanswerable?

Satan is as powerful as God and what God does he undo it. He brings the bad and ugly to all the people who believe in God. If God means good, he means bad and make things to happen that way. Originally there was only one Satan and like Cancer cells it had spread by billions and you will find more around you than Godly people. Satan was an angel, but got kicked out of heaven when he tried to take over the throne. He still thinks that at the end of days he will take over the throne. But the Bible says that he will not, and in turn will get cast into the lake of fire.
