get a pill from the vet.. or get he spayed...
over 4 million dogs are euthanized every year in USA alone.. each puppy born will increase that number.. even if her pups find homes - it means someobody elses pups did not.

They do make doggy diapers but typically it is not recommended. Some dogs will just rip them off and eat them causing an obstruction. Other dogs have been known to get an infection because of the moisture. In general, it is best to just let nature take its course.
Other options are to just crate the dog for the 3 weeks better yet get the dog spayed if you are not able to deal with the small blood droplets.

Bitches britches. I believe they have a hole for the tail. I've never had a female that went into season, but I know they sell them at the pet store.
But, the best way to stop the bleeding - have her spayed. She'll never go into heat again, therefore no bleeding. And, no unwanted pups to try to find homes for or to die in shelters.

A diaper will work for now. Get the doggy spayed as soon as it's over!

they sell doggy diapers for this reason. they should get her spayed. female dog who are not spayed have a very high increassed risk for breast cancer( yes dogs do get it only it can be worse since they have more breasts) they also have a high rik for ovarian cancers and uterin problems

Get her fixed,in the long run.That will stop her from coming into heat.In the short run,you can buy disposable diapers at the pet store specifically made for dogs =)

get her spayed. if u dont have the money for that u need to get diapers for her. my mom puts diapers on her dog. that is the only way to do it w/o mating her. when u mate her the male dog will lick the blood and it wont get anywhere else. daipers are the only way.

take her to the vet and tell her you want her to be spayed. that means they will operate on her and remove her reproductive organs so that she won't have a cycle anymore and she won't be able to have puppies.
