Okay here is the question:

The tree that has to do with wisdom is forbidden to adma and eve. What danger might God have seen in theire being "wise"? since men and women have been created in the divine image, why must any limitation be put upon them?

how would u answer this?

First of all, God created Adam & Eve with a free will. They had a choice to obey or disobey God's commandment, as we all have had since then.

Secondly, if Adam & Eve had been allowed to eat from the tree of life, it would have resulted in them & us living in a sinful state for ever with no hope of ever being accepted by God.

Jesus is called the "Second Adam". The first Adam sinned, the second Adam, Jesus did not. When Jesus went to the cross and willingly gave up His life, He was in effect paying for the consequences of sin in the Garden of Eden. He became sin so that God could then judge it.

We owe Jesus our best for what He did for us. Because He was willing to become sin for us, He made it possible for anyone who believes in Him and what He did to have eternal life. Thank you Jesus!!!

It was the tree of "the knowledge of good and evil", this wisdom is not a desirable thing.

If nothing is wrong there could be no sorrow, hatred, jealousy, etc. because everything would be justified. If someone died the means by which it occurred wouldn't matter without the knowledge of considering murder wrong and death by disease right.

Roxy,
The problem that GOD had with them was NOT what they had learned but the fact that they chose to follow satan rather than what HE had told them. They committed SIN and that was the problem that occurred in the Garden. Have a wonderful evening and a glorious week.
Thanks,

The limitations we experience are chains we forge ourselves through our actions. Wisdom is in being attached only to God and leaving all else to Him.

Ignorance is bliss. Think about it.

The real question is why he told them not to go and eat of it in the first place. Think about the curiosity it inspired to think about what that tree meant.
