I got some glasses recently with anti-reflective coating but I've heard some negative things about it. So is it inevitable that it will get scratched and/or ruined, or if I clean them correctly and stuff I won't have any problems?

A quality anti reflection coating should last at least 2 years before you start getting minor scratches in it. In my own practice, if it gets scratched up in less than 2 years, we replace the lenses, no charge.

Be sure to never wipe your lenses when they are dry. Always rinse them first under warm water, then use a soft cloth.

Assuming you got multi-layered anti reflective coating (which is almost industry standard now) with proper caring it should last more than 5 years minimum. I personaly using one over 8 years now and still has its coating.

These glasses are less than two years old and little scratches are recently showing up all over the lenses. I always use a microfiber cleaning cloth and usually liquid wash. Should I have them replaced?
