5. He created mankind in His own image, including intelligence and abilities far above any of His other physical creation.

6. He creates within these physical beings who are made like God a spiritual, righteous, trustworthy, loving character like His own. As free moral agents, we all have the choice of living God's way or doing our own thing according to our own desires and understanding. One way leads to eternal life and God's glory. The other leads only to being left out of God's plan and ultimately eternal death (Deuteronomy 30:15-19).

7. Glorification as sons of God—the purpose for which we were created. Our loving and outgoing Father is increasing the numbers and joys of having a large, harmonious family. This is the great mystery that Christ came to preach to all who can hear (Mark 1:14-15). God is building His family (Hebrews 2:10)!

Man’s body was formed out of the elements of the earth, the same materials (carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, etc.) from which both plants and the bodies of the animals had been formed (Genesis 1:12,24). This unity of physical composition is a fact of modern science thus long anticipated by Scripture.

EDIT: "Did you know that you had a tail? When you were a four-week-old embryo you grew a tail. We all do. Later in pregnancy it gets reabsorbed, but in a few rare cases it gets retained and the baby is born with it. The only reason you have a tail is that we are descended from earlier species which had tails. There's absolutely no plausible reason for a creator to have given us the genes to make a tail, and have us grow it and then lose it again".

The science of genetics has confirmed that the embryo is identifiably human from the moment of conception.

The embryonic human "tail" is in reality the developing coccyx, or "tail bone," a vitally important, fully human feature, while the so-called yolk sac is not a source of nourishment as in a bird egg, but is the source of the embryo's first blood cells. Everything about the human embryo is totally unique and human.

These abnormalities you speak of represent fetal development problems, and have nothing at all to do with ancestry. Even more serious abnormalities do occur in a host of expressions, which bear no resemblance at all to any possible ancestor. You see, almost every cell in the developing fetus (and in the adult body) contains the complete genetic code. Thus each cell possesses, in principle, the information necessary to grow into muscle, bone, teeth, blood, nerve, or organ.

Normal development requires an amazing sequence of events. Growth of each component must occur at the proper time and to the proper extent. Throughout the growth, a variety of proteins are secreted which trigger the growth. The lack of the protein trigger, or the improper amount, or faulty timing will produce abnormal development. The marvelous DNA code oversees and governs this development in a healthy environment.

But if the environment undergoes some sort of shock, this intricate sequence could be interrupted. Examples of this shock might be due to malnutrition, or be drug induced, or temperature related, or even due to physical impact.

The most important thing to remember is that the damaged information which produced these developmental abnormalities is not usually present in the reproductive cells, and thus is not passed on to offspring. A person born with multiple nipples/ "tail" can grow to maturity and have children, and their children would have no greater likelihood of having a tail than any other child has. Since the expressed trait is not inherited, it obviously was not inherited from one's ancestors, whether animal or not.

Why, then, is this used as evidence for evolution? Beats me! I guess there's just nothing better to use.

Just because people believed they existed doesn't mean they did. Jesus and the New Testament writers believed they existed because they were Jewish. That only proves they were Jewish.
We ARE made from earth materials so we need minerals in our diet. That doesn't prove people were made from mud that proves we live on Earth.

Male and Female fit together mentally and emotionally because that is the way a society needs to be in order to reproduce. Men and Women can't completely hate each other and never talk because then our species would quickly die out, and no one wants that.

1. The gospels say that he did. This proves that the gospels say that he did. Since multiple passages in the gospels contradict each other, this hardly merits the term "evidence", let alone proof.
2. This is true. Prooving what?
3. Huh? Everything is chemistry. Adam and Eve were described chemically. Therefore they exist?
4. The only things that this proves is that you don't understand the concept of evolution and that in all probability, you have never been in a long term relationship with a member of the opposite gender!

actually that may not authentic, they only mandatory to have genes that have been undertaking to version so as that organic decision, quite sexual decision, might guard something. we've greater than a number of evidence that we are descended from apes by using a succession of bipedal, hominid ancestors over various million years. Our noses, eyes, ears and mouths are no longer precisely comparable to those apes because of the fact of version and organic decision. a similar could be authentic of Adam and Eve if that they had actually existed.

I won't respond to 1 and 2, but I will say 3 and 4 are some of the most ridiculous "proofs" I've ever hears.

It has been shown using DNA analysis on the Y chromasome that we all evolved from a single male ancestor. I'll leave it up to you as to whether that means Adam or not...

You must not be married... anyone who says that men and women "fit together perfectly mentally and emotionally" cannot possibly be married!!!! :)

Just joshin' y'all...

Go to www.nationalgeographic.com and look at the human genome project.

It pretty much says that all humans do in fact share a common ancestor.

It is fascinating. Maybe it will have some information for you to add to your list.
