i have read this post from another guy. and it sounds EXACTLY like my symptoms.
runny nose, pain on one side. etc etc.
but i heard true story from someone else about this guy who had been told by a doctor that he had cluster headaches.

then died of a brain hemorage.

is this going to happen with me?

im mean ya i get headaches, and MAYBE have an overactive thyroid (gettting a test for it). but i DON'T get symptoms like vomiting, dizzyness, panick attacks, hallucinations, motor problems (some twitching but ive done it ever since smoking pot lol), and vision probs.

so tell me - even if i do have this. its not fatal. right?

The pain of a cluster headache commences quickly, without warning, and reaches a crescendo within 2 to 15 minutes. It is often excruciating in intensity, and is deep, nonfluctuating, and explosive in quality; only occasionally is it pulsatile. In addition, 10 to 20 percent of patients report superimposed paroxysms of stabbing, icepick-like pains in the periorbital region that last for a few seconds and may occur once or several times in rapid succession; this paroxysmal pain usually heralds the end of an attack. The symptoms resolve in 1 to 2 minutes.

Lacrimation from the eye on the affected side is the most common associated symptom. A blocked nasal passage, rhinorrhea, red eye, and sweating and pallor of the forehead and cheek are often found, but their absence does not exclude the diagnosis. Changes in heartbeat are present, too.

There are a couple of things that can cause them and if your friend had an artery malformation that was not diagnosed and was causing the headaches it was just coincidental. What i mean is his headaches were not the cause of death, but a possible vascular malformation that was not diagnosed.
What you need to do is find the cause for the cluster headaches and not try to find paliative cures for the pain. Remember pain is there to alert us something is wrong.

I would suggest that you visit a doctor for the best answer, I can only share what I know.

I have had cluster headaches since I was young- most people think they have a 'migraine' but don't really understand what a migraine is. A migraine is means you close all the windows, blinds, and hide in your room for 3 days crying yourself to sleep / awake.

I get cluster headaches that litteraly shut down my life for days at a time - I cannot work, sleep, or function when I get one.

For those who are going to say 'you are just a wimp- I get headaches all the time' then you are lucky and have never had a cluster headache. Those who suffer simply ignore normal pain. For example, I had a broken foot for a week before I went to the doctor because it was a minor inconvenience.

Image a pain far worse for days, that shuts down half of your head, and you simply want to die.

Get to a good doctor, there are good medications for cluster headaches. I have not, however, heard of anyone dying from them, so I suspect it was something more serious.

Good luck- cluster headaches suck, but when you find out the trigger, you can head off the cluster before they become life-altering.

Cluster headaches are not related to hemorrhaging. Not that you can not suffer from both - but cluster headaches are not because of hemorrhaging. They are also treatable with daily meds and when one brakes through Immetrex or Relpax etc are taken. My two daughters suffer from cluster headaches, one takes a beta blocker daily the other takes Topral.

The only likelyhood of cluster headaches being fatal is when you stop breathing!

Headaches are not fatal - a brain haemmorage is!

No. That doesn't mean you don't have a cerebral anuerysm, it just means that cluster headaches don't automatically mean you have one. See a real doctor and stop gambling your health on a bunch of bored people playing on the computer.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic. Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it. Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see. Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole. Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you. But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong. If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds. Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/8VVUF
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.
