arn't squeeking hamster weels the worst? If you can take the wheel off of the stand then put some wax on the two pegs that hold the wheel in place. Make sure that there are no clumps that the hamster can chew off I did this once a week with my hamsters wheel and it worked fine and didn't seem to harm him.

Use olive oil or vegetable oil instead. Dab some oil on a Q-Tip and apply a little to the axles of the wheel.

olive oil it works best cooking oil can harm the hamster some are allergic and put it on the small gear in the back of the wheel hope this helps

a small bit of bag of balm should be okay,you can find it in the grooming section at a local walmart,this stuff is also great if you have dry hands it stays on even after lots of hand washing

rub a candle on the joints or use Crisco. I like the cooking spray idea.

chapstick. i use it on mine all the time and it stays on for about 2 weeks before it either wears off or they lick it off (which i haven't seen them doing.)

It might stink but try melted cheese. And it would make them attracted to it. =] But if you want something less stinky than try tanning oil. Hope I helped & good luck.
