Of course not!!!!! It hasn't changed with the growth of the women's movement, it's now accepted that women work outside of the home and aren't subservient to men, but no ones going to re write the Bible. I just hope that churches will accept homosexuals and let them freely worship and have, at least, religious marriage ceremonies. Hopefully they'll be able to have legal marriages soon :)

You really put a lot of time and effort into this question. Good for you. It is true, I am a Christian and I have sinned and fallen short of the mark. I try not to judge people but at times I do. There is a guy in my home town that sits at the local restaurant and voices his opinion about everything. Most of the time I consider expressing ones opinion to be ok. The problem with this guy is, he is mean. He is an atheist and hates everyone of every religion. His opinions on gays is that they should all be lined up and shot. He openly uses the n word especially if someone of color is present and says the dumbest thing the United States ever did was abolish slavery. As a Christian I know I should not hate this guy but it's hard not to. All I can do is work on myself. Have yourself a blessed day my friend.

I wish you'd cite your source but it hardly matters.
Regardless, fundies don't like let alone trust scientists BUT they won't hesitate to get antibiotics from the "medical professionals" if they're sick.
Hypocrisy is such an apt word and it goes so well with fundie.

Fundies just don't seem to get it that gayism is like left-handedness.
It's a preference you're born with.
They can't accept that 'god' would make a 'mistake' whilst conveniently forgetting 'god' causes all manner of mental and physical challenges.

What does the Bible say about medical professionals?

What do homosexuals say about medical professionals?

What do abominations say about the Bible?

Too many questions yet to be answered before this marriage can be consumated.

THE BIBLE SAYS LET GOD BE TRUE AND EVERY MAN A LIAR, HOW CAN MERE MAN PLAIN OL MAN CREATED BY GOD HIMSELF MAN SAY ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS CLEARLY SAID WHAT THE DEAL IS, DO NOT BE STUPID, DO NOT LISTEN TO MAN WHEN IT COMES TO GOD'S PROVEN WORD HIS ALMIGHTY AND LIVING WORD. THERE IS A WAY THAT SEEMS RIGHT UNTO A MAN, BUT THE BIBLE SAYS THAT THE END OF THAT IS DEATH. HOMOSEXUALITY IS AN ABOMINATION WHICH IS A DETESTABLE THING IN THE SIGHT OF GOD, AND IF GOD MADE THEM LIKE THAT IF THEY WERE BORN LIKE THAT, TAKE ME TO A NURSEY AND SHOW ME THE ONES THAT ARE HOMOSEXUAL.

Nah, why would they? The Emancipation Proclamation didn't chase Ephesians 5:6 from the book.

What are talking about? You're speaking foolishness.

Homophobia is wrong in my opinion, but the issue of homosexuality is a moral issue and the view on such practices vary from person to person and religion to religion.

I'm not sure who these *medical professionals* are you're talking about, but their feelings on what is moral and what is not universal.

@theroadw : ... Temple prostitutes ... that has to be one of the silliest excuses I've ever heard.

Homosexuality is both sin/sign of a depraved mind - according to God - and repugnant. Anyone who wants to "amend" the Bible in this regard or any other is playing with fire:

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book" - Revelation 22:18-19

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." - Matthew 5:18

I strongly recommend you reconsider your cavalier stance on matters of eternity.
