Excuse me?
Japan was NOT Christian.
Neither was Italy or Germany. The Roman Catholic Church and Lutheran Church had long ago stopped being Christian.
Russia was officially practicing atheism.
If there were any Christians in German or Italy, there would have been an outcry about how God's chosen people, the Jews were being slaughtered.
Those few Christians who did object, were sent the concentration camps and killed right along with the Jews.
When Hitler finished off the Jews, his plans were to go after the Christians next.

Maybe the Islamic history gives it away. Muslims are presently killing Christians in many countries of the world. They are not just killing but maiming and disfiguring. The Quran teaches the violence that has been Islam's history. Allah in the Quran teaches that Jews and Christians are to be eliminated if they don't convert. So in Africa, India and other places they kill and maim those who refuse to convert, doing Allah's will. Warlike is not the word; terrorists who prey on the weak and those who can't fight back is more accurate. They carved off the breasts of a woman and they disfigured the face of another woman. They butchered a little five year old boy. So don't even come here with a defense of Islam. Learn from ex-Muslims the truth of Islam. http://www.islam-watch.org/

World War Two was fought with some rules of war. You do not kill women and children. You do not attack civilians. You treat captive soldiers with some care. You do not attack hospitals, hospital ships or ambulances. You do not show a white flag and then attack under cover of the flag. Etc.
Now look at what the Muslims do. Blow up cafes full of women and kids. Capture enemies and behead them on video. Their founder was a warlord who spread the faith on the tip of a sword. Jihad (holy war) is alive and well in their thoughts and actions.
I could go on and on pointing out the flaw to your logic but your question is only worth 3 minutes of my time.

Are you saying only those involved in WWII are warlike? So because Muslims were not a country in WWII this absolves them from being warlike?
In that case the only warlike people on the earth are in their 70's.

The obvious difference, of course, was that WWII was not a religious war. Hitler used the card of religion against the Jews, but what he was really after was the "pure race," not any particular religious goal. I doubt you'd get many people to agree that Hitler was a spokesperson for Christianity in general.
But when you look at Islamic countries, you find that they are oppressive of other religions and even if they don't legislate against them, they look the other way when Islamic fundamentalists attack members of other religions. This simply doesn't happen in "Christian" nations (if you even believe such a place exists anymore). And you'd be hard-pressed to find any modern terrorist act of the caliber of 9/11 perpetrated in the name of Christ. And while it's not at all unusual in a Muslim country (and even in other places) to hear chants of "Death to Israel! Death to America!" you don't hear Americans (Christian or not) standing in the streets chanting "Death to Afghanistan! Death to Iran! Death to Iraq (Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, etc.)"

World War is focusing about the territories,
and the War of Iraq is focusing on two different ways.
The reason why United States conquer Iraq is because of the Twin Towers that collapse.
The reason why Osama Bin Laden attack United States is because of religious belief.
Actually, the war is between the U.S. Government and Osama Bin Laden's religious group.
The war is not between Christians and Muslims.
Because if the War is between the Christians and Muslims the Pope of the Roman Catholic will get involve in this tragedy.

People calling Muslims warlike (clearly displaying prejudice) probably aren't thinking about WWII when they do so - and why should they? If you asked them, I'm sure that they would agree that Hitler and Mussolini, nominal Christians, were warlike as well.
It seems like you're asking, "Why don't they avoid the issue by bringing up WWII?"
What's wrong is identifying Muslims as warlike, rather than warlike individuals as warlike.

Do you know the History of WW2? The US fought that war for four years against an enemy that was bent on world domination. It had nothing to do with religion other than the Axis powers were a terrible evil that had to be stopped..If any other group of people exists that are so evil as to attack our people without warning, another people bent on their ways dominating the world by force they will have to be stopped too.. To the US it has nothing to do with a person's religion and more to do with the denial of freedom.. IHS Jim
