The cost of papers after you marry in another country?

Im from canada and my boyfriend is from spain.He is moving here soon and we will marry in January.The we have to fill out papers for him to become a permant resident....I hear we have to pay money while the papers are being processed and then we have to pay money again once they are processed.Do anyone know the exact cost ??

The costs of the documents are only minimal for the application and the processing fees except when you are victimized by fixers.
