I recommend the Magic Talkin' Kitchen Crew from Playskool. Actually, Playskool has teamed up with Discovery Toys on this and many others in their line of learning toys. You can only get it through Discovery Toys now- but, it is inexpensive, small and has a lot of cool little gadgets for them to play with. It's one of THE most inexpensive models out there that is complete with utensils and some cookware.

My son (22 months) and all of our childcare kids LOVE it. :)

I can help if you are interested. :)

I bought my boy and girl a Kidkraft wooden kitchen 2 years ago for Christmas. They come in multiple colors, so it's not all pink 'n girly and this thing it STURDY and well made. Another BIG hit was the Melissa & Doug wooden food that has the velcro so they can actually cut the food apart. Now is a good time to start shopping for these items. They go fast the closer to Santa Season it is. Happy Shopping!!

Don't spend too much money. Most likely he will end up drawing on it. Ours is outside on our deck. My son LOVES it. I plan on getting him some more play food for his for Christmas this year. Basically any kind of kitchen that has doors to open.

Honestly, we didn't get a very expensive one. The cheap ones are just as good as the 100+ dollar ones and kids tire of them pretty quickly anyway. Save your money.
