For a regular 1-ounce-or-less letter, it costs 90 cents.
You can use any combination of stamps that adds up to at least the correct amount. The post office has stamps available in a variety of denominations.

You should take it to the post office and let them weigh it, and just pay for the shipping there. Otherwise you risk having the letter sent back to you.
