I myself would only drink maybe 1 or 2 drinks and make them light ones. Drink lots of water in the meantime to flush your system out before drinking. Some meds can cause fatalities when mixed with even the smallest amount of alcohol. If you can call your local pharmacy now and ask them the same question you asked here and see what they say. They should have the correct answer to your problem.

Oh jeepers, sacrifice the possibilty of a bad reaction to a drug for a couple of beers??????
Why is it so important to drink beer????
Why not have a Coca-Cola, stay sober, and remember everything without puking the next day?
Here's an idea - why not assume that yes you will have a bad reaction if drinking alcohol while taking your prescription, stay clean and sober, behave like a decent human being, carry yourself with more self-respect, and learn how to have a good time without getting drunk?
It's worked for me, and my brother, and my sister, and my other sister, and my other three brothers, and my other two sisters, and my mom, and my aunts and uncles, and my husband, and a lot of my friends, and the kids in my church youth group, and hopefully my daughter.

I can tell you that the drug is not out of your system after eight hours. My recommendation would be not to drink but if you absolutely have to just spread out your alcohol consumption in a long period of time. Drink a beer wait a while and see how you feel. You know your body, so if you feel different then you normally do after one beer, stop.

I wouldn't it could interfer with the medication and as far as I'm concerned getting rid of acne should be worth giving up alcohol for a few weeks. Maybe the alcohol is causing the acne. One other thing you could get a brutal belly ache by mixing a sulpha med with alcohol I wouldn't try it.

Your probably ok, but ask a doctor. How often do you take the drug? If it is daily, it should be out of your system by now, but I'm not a doctor, so I'm not sure.
