I'm always in a boat fishing. (usually my grandpa is fishing with me) and all of the sudden the other person in the boat stands up, I try to get them to sit down but they won't, and then we fall and I wake up in a cold sweat, does this represent anything?

Try to focus less on the actual happenings of the dream and more on what the FEELING is that's associated with the dream. I know you're scared when you wake up, but try to go deeper than that. Are you scared and feeling helpless? Angry? Frustrated? Sad? Then ask yourself where in your life you've felt that feeling before. It may be something that you're feeling now or it may be something from your childhood, but try to tune in to that feeling and be open to what comes to you.

Fishing in a boat with someone............it means that you are sharing the company of certain individuals in trying to obtain or secure certain goals or means. Basically, you can be involved with friends or family to pursue materials things, money, or business opportunities using different tactics. However, there are some people you are associated with that "rock the boat" or bring alot confusion and trouble to the situation, causing your objective become ruined.

Do you know how to swim? Are other people getting themselves into trouble by doing dumb things? It could be a commentary you are making to yourself in your sleep. You could be afraid of drowning, which is why you are in a boat, for its safety. You might be finding the men, and perhaps a woman or two, doing something unnecessarily (in your mind) troublesome. They "rock the boat" perhaps by 'pushing the buttons' of family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, people in authority (like you sat in the car as grandpa or whomever chewed out the cop who stopped him for speeding). People you otherwise trust and respect may be endangering an otherwise good scene. My father was fond of doing things like that and I picked up a tad bit of the 'rock the boat' mentality myself. If you have someone like that, then maybe that is the answer.

Do you feel that your grandpa somehow caused a situation over which you had no control? That's a good place to start. Good luck
