Your tattoo has 7 five pointed nautical stars.
The nautical star is a very old modern tattoo, going back at least a century or more. Back in the days of yore, before modern navigation, sailors would navigate in part by the stars in the night skies, in particular the North Star in the Northern Hemisphere, and various other constellations of stars in the night sky. In the Southern Hemisphere, sailors had to use different stars and the Southern Cross became quite well-known. Sailors would then tattoo nautical stars on them because they relied on the stars to take them home, and being superstitious, they hoped their star tattoos would get them home safely as well.
Compass stars are also popular for this reason. The nautical stars were originally used by sailors to help guide their way as they sailed through the night. They relied upon the stars to protect them and bring them home safely.
A lot of soldiers get nautical stars for the same reason...protection. It is a symbol of protection and guidance. It was a very popular tattoo among sailors.p>
So a case could be made that the nautical star tattoo, or a tattoo of any star for that matter, would be a symbol of guidance. Now as time has passed the nautical stars represent the direction of one's life, for those of us who are not sailors but still need guidance.
Some say that if the nautical star is pointed upwards they have a higher outlook on life and so on.
The meaning of the Nautical star is to create your own path, but use the stars as a guide when you are lost or scared.
As far as 7 stars having a particular meaning i'm not sure... The star ARIETIS is the brightest in a constallation of 7 stars. This cluster of 7 stars has been used for centuries for navigation. Beyond that I can offer no insight.
I hope this helps.

That's a really cool tattoo! Well, stars are usually symbols for protection. You have seven of them, and they are blue, so that could have something to do with the 7 seas... If you want to go there. :P
So, protection in the water. Maybe something like... So you don't get lost. So you know your way back home. Something along those lines!
It's a really cool tattoo! I like it!

I dont think any of us could tell you what it means. You picked it out, not us. You like it so it doesnt matter what some strangers online think about your tattoo. There has to be a reason you picked it out, even if its just because you like stars and the color blue. You picked it out, and it has a meaning.

It only has meaning if you give it meaning. I personally don't subscribe to the whole "tattoos have to have meaning" theory, none of mine do, they're just cool designs I thought up.

That's a cool tat. Spiral type images/symbols often signify "life".

I don't think it does (except maybe for people who are into pentagrams, which according to some are a wicca symbol or related to the devil - stupid if you ask me, but hey, to each their own).
7 is a magical number though so I guess it could have something to do with that.
Anyway whatever it means, it looks cool!

I don't know what it means. Ask the people where you got it from.
