Additional information is needed. Is it a pre-1964 Model 70? Can you tell us the serial number of your rifle giving the first 3 digits and the rest as X's? That will go a long way to help determine what rifle you have. You also didn't mention what kind of shape it's in either. Is it 100% Original ? This is needed to give you a value without just guessing....

This rifle was made in 1964. There were many many variations, but to give you some idea, a Model 70 standard in 100% condition of that era is worth $550. USRAC stopped making these rifles at the New Haven, CT plant in 2006, so your rifle may actually be worth more that this. The new Model 70's made by FN in South Carolina begin to be delivered in June.

Depends on whether it is the Pre-'64 models, or those produced after '64, and it's condition. A ball park figure would be $500- $1200.

Check the value in The Blue Book of Gun Values. Your library should have a copy.
