A lot of people who had bought tickets to go to America on the Tintanic, would not go because of the gut feelings they had. My friend had an urge to take a day off work because of a feeling she had she got, she didnt and got knocked down on her road to work. Anyone else had these things happen to them.

Yes, most of the women in my family had a psychic ability including my mother and then it was passed down to myself and my sister. I can remember that my great-aunts also were. i was doubly blessed or sometimes I feel cursed to have it on my mom's side of the family as well as my father's side.
I remember when I was 9 years old and I was in school and I got up and ran out of the classroom and down to the office and told the staff I had to get home right away as my favorite grandmother had just died. Of course they called my parents and I was told to go back to class. I could not think of anything else but about her. Finally the school day ended and I ran home as fast as I could and I ran into the house and my mom was dusting and nothing seemed out of the normal but I told my mom that I know that Grandma died this this morning and why is she dusting and acting like nothing happened. I was mad and scared at the same time.
I told my mom that I knew that she had died at 9:38 that morning. Finally, my father came home and took my brother and I into my bedroom and told us about his mother that died that morning and it was the same grandmother I was talking about that morning in school and to my mother. I told him I wanted to know the exact time she died and he told me at 9:38 a.m.. That one I really hated knowing ahead of time and adults lied to me.
My mom said my dad wanted to be the one to tell me and my brother. As an adult of course I can honor that but as a kid it was different. I could write a book with all of the Psychic things that have happened to me and my family. I know their are people who do not believe in this and they all have their choice to believe or not. I can only tell the truth about me and my family and leave it at that.

Although my experience was not as tramatic as the Titantic and your friend, I did have something similar happen. I myself am a spiritual psychic and if I get that intuition, I always follow it. One day, I received a gut feeling to travel a different route to go to the store. I ignored it and when I turned down the usual road, the road was blocked by a disabled car and I needed to find an alternate route.

A temporary inconvenience is not much compared to the Titanic or your friend's experience, but I guarantee that I always followed my intuition and Angels and Spirit Guides guidance from that day forward.

Blessings!
Kerri

No definitely none in my family. I don't agree a 'gut feeling' is being psychic.
I do listen to my inner voice a lot which is the Holy Spirit b/c He speaks only truth. For me it's the Godhead living in me - Father, Son and Holy Ghost/Spirit..but you and me will never agree on this Sus since we interpret the bible differently - but each to their own eh...

Apparently it was strong with my Grandma Stephanie, my mom's mom.
So far most of the girl cousins on my mom's side all have a bit of "The Gift", including me.
Unfortunately it comes out knowing when the phone is for me, or my sister thinks of me and I call her the next day.
Totally useless at knowing lottery numbers. I'm always one number off. My next game is reverse Keno at Las vegas, where the odds of getting zero numbers are just as high as getting all numbers.

As far as the relatives I'm aware of, I'm the only one in my family with any psychic ability, but with all the reading and study I've done since I converted to paganism years ago, it shouldn't be a surprise.

Given the population of the world, lots of people think something is going to happen and it does,BUT there is no meaning in this,it would prove something weird if these things never were never to take place. There is no supernatural world.

I studied the Titanic when I was doing my course at uni Suzie
for a maiden voyage they found it strange that it was only about a two thirds full
and when you consider the book that parallels the voyage , it is pretty freaky and quite accurate

I think everyone has a touch of what you described as "psychic"
"Instinct" is more how I would describe it. It's just that we sometimes don't follow our "instinct". If your friend had followed her instincts, she MAY have been safe. I say "may" because destiny is another great force.
