k this sounds crazy. there were these tall skinny leprechauns in my neighbors backyard, when i tried to go in my house, the attacked me and yelled at me. i am Irish. does this mean anything, or was this just my twisted imagination making it's way into my dreams?

Your imagination, twisted or not, always makes its way into your dreams. Your imagination selects scenes and action and often even the script you speak. Your body is doing something akin to the movie Matrix, keeping you occupied while your body rests and regenerates. Sometimes there is meaning, sometimes we are working out problems or sorting out feelings and ideas. But leprechauns, well, that is imagination, especially tall and thin ones. You are okay.

Sounds very much like an episode of Dr who I watched yesterday where these skinny fairy like creatures attacked an old women as she was trying to go in through her back door. If your dream was after seeing the episode then maybe there are things in the episode that you are connecting with, the little girl with the not so nice step father, or the nasty man that tried to pick her up.
