Cats...nasty things. If you touch someone that has ringworms you can get them that way also and they will spread all over the place. Put clear nail polish on everywhere you see the ring and that will kill them.

We just had some problems with this. We found a stray cat and took him in. We ended up with a ringworm issue. I was able to get rid of it with over the counter anti-fungal cream. You can also go to the doctor and get anti-fungal pills and a prescription strength cream.

Ringworm is a fungus that will grow in damp places. You could pick it up from the soil, or an animal, or a person... it's actually very easily spread, so if there is an outbreak in your home, you want to clean all your sheets, clothes, etc...

I actually had ringworm before, & I picked it up from being on a mat in gym class at school.

It can be passed by animals, but it can also be passed by contact with something that has been contaiminated. This can be something someone has stepped on, slept on, worn, touched, etc.

You need to go to the Dr. They will give you a prescription cream that should clear it up.

It's usually from sweat and bacteria, sometimes animals. It's really easy to get it if you're on a wrestling team because people rub against each other. To keep them away, just shower daily and keep clean. If you do end up getting them go to the doctors and get cream. It'll clear it up within a few months.

Cats or dogs....They pass it on to humans. Wash hands and under nails after contact with animals. I think caTS are a greater risk of passing them on.

It's a fungal infection. You have to get meds from the doctor to clear it up. Don't wait because it's contagious.
