To me the word acceptance is not the same thing as to accept. Young people accept the many messages they are bombarded with and slavishly accept the dictates of youth culture in fashion and life style, philosophy and morals. However, acceptance is less passive and involves somebody very deliberately making a choice to accept something. The young accept youth culture with out much thought or challenge. But religion usually involves some level of contemplation and an active decision to take on board the philosophy and lifestyle dictated by that religion. First you contemplate it, inner reflection, then with acceptance you concede to give your life to a certain philosophy. It is with thought not merely an act of accepting something.

I will use the term "acceptance" as being accepted by someone.

Will you gain someones acceptance they usually like what your doing or agree with you. In my mind, it is agreeing with someone, rather it be belief, a question, or a decision they've made in their life.

Acceptance means agreeing or approving..I vote for tolerance, unless something is so against your beliefs and morals that you must take a stand.

That all people have faults, and no one should be judged as a good or bad person based on their faults. You can "hate the sin" but "not the sinner." This does not mean you have to hang around with people who are bad for you.

What then is worship to me? How do I worship? To worship skill to obey. And to obey skill to worship. both are in detail linked; certainly, they're coterminous and can't be separated. quite, to obey the Sovereign Lord God Jehovah of Armies is to worship Him. I do my imperfect wonderful in this regard. I fall on my face and come again as a lot as attempt to attempt back. contained in the backyard of Eden, as long as they obeyed Jehovah, Adam and Eve were worshiping him. No temple, no Mosaic regulation, no conferences. purely leave the tree of the understanding of sturdy and undesirable on my own. common. The minute they disobeyed, they stopped worshiping Jehovah. same with the country of Israel. The minute they tried to coach a syncretistic faith they stopped worshiping Jehovah. The minute they made the golden calf, they stopped. And on and on. To worship is to obey. To obey is to worship. Hannah J Paul
