I am a 20 year old girl. The man I love is 42. It's just that I love his personality so much and can't imagine living without him. I don't expect people to understand.

I can relate. I'm a man in that guy's age range, and I am in love with a woman in your age range, but the entire situation is full of difficulties from many angles, so many in fact that I have tried numerous times to "not feel this way" but so far, to no avail. I don't think this helps you at all, unless it's to realize that you're not alone, and these things do happen from time to time. Good luck to you. (For that matter, good luck to us both).

wow honey that is way over your age. why not being with someone your own age? all i can say that sometimes age does matter in a relationship and other times it doesnt. it all depends on if your mature or not.

it isn't normal, but honey, normal is totally over-ratted :]. all you have to do is get to know him more and more, make sure you meet his family. see what kind of man he is. MAKE SURE, he is into your personality, and not your looks. older men like younger looking girls, he needs to like your inner beauty also. and have your family meet him and accept him
