fortunatly, that is definatly not a wide-body and there is no way there was more than 300 people on that airplane... I could not tell for sure but it was either of the DC-9 or 727 family... those airplanes all seat in the neighborhood of 150 passengers... but that was probobly a test flight to see the effects of an attempted takeoff without flaps or something... the video quality was poor... People would not be vaporized, they would be knocked out by impact, others killed by smoke inhalation and others killed by burning... Burning alive, if you are concious, I can immagine is a very painful experience...

Some people would have died painfully. But as you can see, the plane went up pretty damn quickly, so it's unlikely anyone would have lived very long. With that much fuel on board it would be more like an explosion than anything else. I would say most people would have been struck by flying metal as the wings exploded into the fuselage. If you've ever seen somebody survive those kind of burns, you may think they were probably better off dead.

Unless there's an explosion, people aren't "vaporized."

Burning to death is a horrible, horrible way to die. It's really painful. Excruciating. Imagine a small burn...then imagine it eating through all your flesh all over your body.

I hope they go into shock or go unconscious quickly so they don't have to deal with that agony. A crash that severs their spines would be better than burning to death.

I mean, watch The English Patient. That dude was burnt up in a plane crash, almost killed, and he was totally miserable.

No. I keep in mind flying and examining the paper and a area became a pair of undesirable airplane crash that got here approximately 2 days previously. It did not placed me off one bit. i could not coach it to my little cousins who have been with me although, i think of it would have placed them off for all times.

You have approximately 90 seconds to get out of an aircraft that is burning. After that, the smoke will be your biggest nemesis when you pass out from the multiple poisonous fumes then burn to death.

1.) There are a lot of ways they might have died. Smoke inhalation, burned to death, or they could have been vaporised instantly.
2.) Excruciating pain, probably.

If the impact does not kill them, then the superheated fumes from the burning fuel would incinerate their lungs as soon as they breathe it in. They wouldn't have lived nearly long enough to be burned alive.

First off that was a test flight and there was nobody in the plane. You got 1st 2nd and 3rd degree burns. 1st degree just burn skin. 2nd degree burns skin and nerves. 3rd degree burns it skin nerves and mussle. 2nd degree burns hurt the most becouse the just get to the nerves as were a 3rd degree burns past the nerves. Ive had 2nd degree burns before and it hurt like hell

since someone who burns to death cant tell us how it feels we will never know for sure. but we do know burns are painful so lets hope they died from an explosion or impact first.

I'm guessing they would die in about 2 seconds, and those 2 seconds would be incredibly painful.
