Just me, at age 14 your body is still growing, give it what it needs. You just said the magic words yourself, the right exercise and proper nutition can help you manage your weight.

There is no need for you to set such a strigent goal as to weigh 115 pounds. Instead try find your ideal weight and plan try to meet that goal. Look to set goals like this "I want to lose 10 pounds in 3 months" or "I want to lose 3 inches off my waist". If you really want to lose weight you need to plan to lose weight.

If your plan is to "lose 10 pounds A.S.A.P." try a healthy weight loss plan like Herbalife ShapeWorks. Get out a pad of paper and write your real goal down. Then after that write down a plan to achieve that goal. Then write down possible ways to reach that goal. Then go for it!

Weight loss is about planning goals, just like going to school. The difference is that you can be the teacher and the student at the same time. Learn about nutrition and weight loss. Avoid any so called advice about which exercises to do or which quick weight loss plans to try. Find your own solution, write it down, then do it!

Hope this helps
Tim

I'm 5'3 and 17 years old. I'm a girl. I weigh 118 pounds and that is considered normal and healthy. :)

Focus on your body fat % and BMI rather than your weight. They are better indicators of your health and overall fitness.

If you are looking to burn fat, make sure to include weight training in your exercise routine. As you build muscle, your weight may increase slightly, BUT that's only because muscle weighs more than fat. As a result, you'll see your body fat % decrease.

Always make sure that you're eating enough protein when weight training. Your body needs it to rebuild your muscles. Try lean meats like chicken and fish, as well as legumes (nuts and beans).

You aren't fat. You're going through some growth, so stop freaking, it's natural.

Get over yourself.
