I am considering trading my 06 Nissan Murano for a 08 Buick Enclave for the room. Nissan will not release a 08 Murano for the newer model coming out next year as a 09 model. Anyone have any opinions on the Buick? I have read this is not OUR Mom and Dad's kind of car anymore.

"The Enclave is one of three crossovers that GM is building off the same so-called Lambda platform--this, the GMC Acadia, and the Saturn Outlook." See:

All three have had very good reviews in the press.

For me they are too big, but that may suit you well.

Also take a test drive of the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander and Mazda CX0 before you make your final descision. They are all good vehicles.

Enclave is okay if you don't mind driving a car that loses half it's value in the first year. Why would you trade an 06 Murano? It can't possibly have more than 60,000 miles on it?

Wait another year and see how cool the new Murano will be. Later this year there will be photos and info on it from the auto show.

I don't know why you would want to gain only miniumal interior space with out the high tech CVT trans and less powerfull GM one cam push rod V-6 3.4 liter engine vs the 3.5 four cam 24 valve. I bet your 2 year old car will make it until 2009 and from what I hear the new Murano will be worth the wait. Just how many people do you carry around?

Sounds fishy... yet once you hand somebody a *signed* call of possession, you're in effect giving them your vehicle. happy which you probably did not sign, yet this remains not secure... different than for them not providing you with the money for the commerce, they could nonetheless artwork w/DMV to flow possession etc... perhaps by a lien. Please be direct with them, you want your money... the dealership owes you, and who's to declare what the story is going to be in 25 days?

You're right about the Buick, its not your daddy's car. They are more powerful and more reliable than ever, not to mention more luxurious. Trade It!
