Bonjour, Guten tag, konnichi wa, Ni hao ma! A giant meteor hit Mexico, and it had several adverse efffects upon life, so that many species became extinct, including all of the dinosaurs and other large reptiles on land, sea and air. It was mainly a meteor, not any gods that exterminated the dinosaurs.

Dinosaurs happen to be the best known group of extinct animals among the general public, but they are only one of hundreds of animal groups that have either gone extinct directly, or simply ceased to exist by evolution into other types.

Those which learned to fly are still all around us. The birds.
By the way, many more species are extinct, not just the dinosaurs, than the species which are present today.

Well. . . why did God create us if He knew that we were going to drop nuclear bombs on ourselves?
Also, what's the deal with all the self-declared linguists trying to sound so righteous for pointing out someone's fallacy? Digress beyond such things, people.

They aren't. Look at a bird, you are seeing a dinosaur.
