Adverse events of Abnormal Vision have been reported. http://www.effexorxr.com/faqs.asp#9

The thing with psy drugs is that they work differently on everyone and it can take up to 3 months for your body to be come stable and have max efficacy. I would give it a little longer, chances are it will pass. If you symptoms worsen, I would call your doctor. You should never stop a med abruptly without a doctor. Effexor is a nasty drug to come off of and you will need a taper schedule. You probably will not have this being only 4 days, but again, consult your doc. Blurred vision, sedation, dry mouth, and abnormal dreaming are all trade marks of psy drug.

hope this helps.

I have had blurred vision, but not with Effexor, but I have had other side effects from Effexor. If it is bad, I would stop taking them and see your doctor or go to your local hospital. Pych drugs can have really bad reactions for some people, I have experienced just about every side effect and withdrawal symptom there is....

I did have that problem with it at first, however, you need to tell your doctor. I quit taking effexor simply for all the side effects. There were more side effects than my original symptoms. And, if you ever choose to go off of it, PLEASE notify your doctor. This is a drug you have to gradually reduce. Nobody told me this and I spent three weeks very ill.
