Do you really mean 'threw' or did you intend to say 'through'?

Liberatio ignem jecit = Liberation threw fire.

Liberatio per ignem = Liberation through fire.

liberation is liberatio

there are several words for fire including ignem (use igne if you choose in)

throw: iacere
through in or per

I am trying to picture liberation throwing fire. Where does this idea come from?

Edit in response to your additional information:

Liberation through fire:
liberatio igne
exutum flammis
liberatum igne
expeditum flammis

There are multiple ways to say anything in Latin, as with any language. Flammis is, literallly, by means of flames, while igne is literally by means of fire. Liberatio is a noun for liberation, but the Romans also used verbs to express the same idea, which is where I gave you the choices exutum, liberatum, and expeditum. Any and all of these work. Good luck.
