The religious leaders condemned Jesus because Jesus hung out with all the so-called "sinners" and "tax-collectors". Back then, "tax-collectors" were thought to be the scum of the earth. He hung around people like that all the time...and people basically called Him a drunkard and "friend of sinners".

When confronted about this and other things, Jesus made it plainly evident that He did NOT COME TO CONDEMN people, but to SAVE PEOPLE. And He said that ALL of us need saving....this would include HETEROSEXUALS AND HOMOSEXUALS.

He ALWAYS showed love, compassion, and mercy to sinners.

It was the hypocritical and judgmental religious people and leaders that He always rebuked, condemned, and spoke woes too - "Hypocrites! Snakes! Brood of vipers! White-washed tombs! etc..."

The only people He didn't save were the people who thought they didn't need any help or saving!!!

Wait...that's so good, I'll repeat it for emphasis and even write this very sentence as an intro:
The only people He didn't save were the people who thought they didn't need any help or saving!!!

...so this should hit CLOSE to home for many reading these words.

Many atheists and others are like, "I don't NEED saving. I don't need ANYTHING from God." And then, God does not reveal Himself to them. And then they say, "God does not exist for there is NO evidence for Him!" Again, it is a pitiful catch-22.

If you would see that you DO need Him, He WOULD reveal Himself to you...and you would have your precious "evidence".

And I am sure there are needy people in a "g a y bar". There are ALSO needy people in a "non- g a y bar", so I am sure Jesus would likely take me there, too...

The Holy Spirit has led me to *worse* and more *sinful* places, let's put it that way...

And, absolutely!
I would go anywhere with Jesus...and will even follow Him to my own death, were He to lead me there. Just as He took up His cross, so He commands me to do the same...

I only pray and hope in Him to give me the strength to walk this walk...

...and who am I to argue with HIM?

For those Christians who say, "Why would He go there?" or think that He definitely wouldn't...they are missing the Gospel that supposedly saves THEM.

Watch out, I say to them...lest the "woes" of Jesus fall upon you!

there is not any longer something incorrect with the two. i've got continually mandatory a stiff drink to recover from the misery felt in a church. If a pub is in walking distance, i might desire to besides be green and guard gas, out of admire for God's creation.

Would Jesus go there? Hard for anyone to know for sure.
Big assumption.

You mean a gay bar? I've never been to one, but it might be fun. I don't know anybody named Jesus.

I positively HATE weekends here on Yahoo answers, all the bored little kids crawl out of the woodwork because they are too brain-dead to get a life together and actually DO something with their free time.
