I had mine done in 2000. It didn't hurt at all. It never really was sore. The only time I was even aware of it was when I bumped it, like on the handle of the grocery store cart, or if I wore waistbands that were too tight. But all that only lasted a couple of months, until it had healed completely.

My wasn't really too sore after I got it pierced. But, since it takes a really long time to fully heal (something like a year), I did have issues where is would be a little sore and swollen. It's great that yours is doing so well. Just make sure to follow your piercer's instructions and keep it clean, so that it stays healthy. Since it's a brand new piercing, there is a chance that it still may feel sore later, from either the healing process, or from your pants or other things getting caught on the belly ring occasionally. (But as long as you take care of it, you should be fine!)

Good for you noodle. Although mine was not terribly painful, it remained sore for several weeks after the initial piercing.
Don't let lack of pain be a deterrent from following the cleaning and care instructions. At this early stage in the game infection can occur quite easily.

Mine didn't hurt a bit, stung a little for like 2 minutes after I had it done but that was it. Even now after having it for over 5 years I can change it and pull on it with no pain :)

Mine wasn't sore either, but my friend's was sore. I think it just depends on the individual. Everyone heals differently. As long as you keep it clean, you should have no problem.
