i have a 46 inch bravia 720p LCD, and supposedly, rapid moement will damage it, is that true?

It'll be fine on an LCD TV, screen burn from colsole is more predominant on plasmas.

Rapid movement of the controller hitting the screen will. Rapid movement from the image on the screen is what its made for!

You better be sure that the wrist strap on the Wii controller is good. If the controller even touches that cheapo Sony PLASTIC screen it will break the screen and the TV is history. Sony LCDs screens are VERY fragile.

I think the Wii was designed with the whole "hook up to the TV" thing in mind
