Of course you can date..you have to consider how long it's been since you were with her mother.
You also need to be cautious of when you introduce someone to your daughter. You don't want to do it too soon.
I also, wouldn't introduce her to EVERYONE you meet. You don't want to confuse her if you are serial dating, she will only need to know someone who it looks might be special or that you have decided to pursue on a more regular basis.
You don't want her to get attached to anyone to have them yanked out of her life, you have to be sensitive to HER. You are a father to your little girl first and foremost!

No nothing's wrong with dating when you're a single parent. Actually, it is better for your daughter if you do date because you might find someone who you want to marry and life is a lot easier on a child who is raised in a home with both a mum and a dad.

Yes you can date!!
Seriously....You dont need to be single forever ;)
If you meet someone..First tell your daughter that she's a really good friend. And then maybe take your daughter and your girlfriend out to eat somewhere. But make sure your daughter likes your girlfriend first. And then explain to her that You like this girl very much =]
Good luck <3

Yes, You can date, but under no circumstances involve your daughter. until you are very serious about a woman.
The last thing you want to do is to rotate woman in and out of your daughters life. She deserves stability, but you deserve a mate.
Always tell the women about the daughter, do not keep her hidden, just explain that you would like to wait for them to meet after you have dated for a while.
Simply tell your daughter, that you are going out with friends. I would not burden a five year old with details until it becomes necessary and important.

that's a hard decision here. i don't think you should date yet because right now she is still very young and right now she is looking up to you and then she will start wondering why you are with so many other woman than her mother. i think you should wait till your daughter is a little older. when you think the time is write ask her if it would be all right if you were able to date again.

i lost my mom at 12. my dad would like to date but b/c i still live with him and do not like the idea at all i say no and he respects that. in ur case i think it is easier b/c ur daughter is young and may adjust more easily to u dating b/c she probably won't even remember this when she is older. so i think it is ok for u to date

Well yes its okay if u date other women but ask your daugther what she thinks because you dont want her to feel like shes being replaced. you don't want to make her feel like another woman is gonna replace her mom
I would ask her if its okay if I date another woman and say im not replacing your mother im just dating another woman
Plus she need a mother
She'll understand
then show ur daugter the woman and introduce her to her and let her get use to her
trust me shell understand it
Good luck

Okay to date but you shouldn't introduce your daughter to them until you feel like you are serious about the person.
It sends too many mixed messages if you keep introducing person after person to children.

Yes you can, I would get to know a woman for a while before you introduce her to your daughter or tell your daugheter.
