Okay... I wanna get my tongue pierced. I have had my eyebrow pierced and lebret... and the eye brow hurt far worse. I wanna know how bad it hurts and does it swell up? How fast does it heal?
I put this in tattoos because... well... piercings and tattoos kinda go hand in hand...
Also if you know about clit piercings... just curious...

Ouch to the nipple piercing... OUCH! That is something I just can't do. I don't even like my boyfriend touching them... lol
About the bj thing... that isn't why I want it. I love piercings, all kinds of piercings (except nipples). I'm pretty damn good at bjs already, I don't need any help. I just want it done and have wanted it done for a while.
Thanks for your answers yall.

The reason my eyebrow hurt is because they didn't push it in all the way at first. She had to keep trying...... my friend was with me on the other side of the room and heard it crunch! And it just poured out blood... it got ripped out tho, surprisingly enough, that didn't hurt as much as the actual piercing...

The actual piercing doesn't hurt that bad - not even as bad as ear piercing.
It swells up pretty big - and pretty fast. That's why the barbell you get pierced with is usually much larger than the ones you will use after it's healed.
This means talking with a lisp and a very restricted food choice until the swelling goes down - and you figure out how not to get spaghetti stuck.
The swelling went down within a week, but I was told to rinse with listerine every time I put anything besides water in my mouth for a month - and no beer/wine for a while either.
Sorry - I'm no expert on clit piercings.

It hardly hurts for a split second. You won't even know that he's done until he tells you or steps back to get the jewelry. For me, the swelling started the next. And lasted about a week. Then it was up and down and after about 3 weeks I went and had another piercer look at it. The guy screwed it up, pierced at too much of an angle and off center so I ended up having to take it out.
Make sure you take proper care of it and chew on ice chips and eat ice pops to help keep the swelling down. Also taking something like Advil will help too because it's an anti inflammatory as well as a pain reliever.
*EDIT- When it come to the whole bacteria in your mouth and getting into your blood stream, it all depends on the source. Some say the mouth is very susceptible to infection some say the opposite. The saliva that your mouth creates is there for a reason, it helps to clean your mouth. That's why, when you pierce your tongue, you salivate like crazy. It's trying to keep your mouth healthy.
Check out safepiercing.org. It's from the APP and has all types of info on there for you including FAQ that really tell alot.

You may choose not to trust me-my eyebrow didn't hurt at all;-)-but I have had various piercings, including lebret, eyebrow, nose, nipples (twice, ouch), tragus, and tongue. My tongue was very uncomfortable (the most uncomfortable-not the most painful though). It is hard to get used to the barbell. Be especially careful putting it in front of your teeth because your tongue has a natural tendency to pull back. It will swell and you cannot eat everything you want to until you are used to it. Honestly, it got in the way of normal activity more than anything else. But if I could go back I would still get it done-it's fun for a little bit. Do be prepared for pain, but it is not excruciating (it should be very quick). You may also want to get a barbell that is covered in rubber-colored/glowindark ones- so that you will not crack teeth (I cracked a tooth)
I watched my best friend get her clit (really a hood piercing, they will not-and should not-ever pierce the clit-you risk being desensitized) pierced. It did not look too painful (more awkward than anything-it was a female who had never done one before-she was really nervous!) My friend really enjoyed hers and I am sure that she would recommend it to you if you were thinking about getting it done. Good Luck!

Not even kidding here...out of almost every body part I have had pierced my tongue was the least painful to get pierced....it barely even hurt, it was a tiny half second pinch.
On the other hand the swelling starts about an hour after you get it done and that HURTS. It leaves you miserable and unable to eat or talk for about a week.....
Also- I had to take my piercing out because it started to wear the enamle on my teeth and make them crooked.
Lastly, tongue piercings carry a lot of bacteria- if you don't keep it clean you are taking a huge risk because if an infection gets into your blood stream from your mouth, it could sweep the bacteria to your heart and could kill you, you can look up more info on this on just about any health website.

It doesn't hurt as much as say, getting inked on your ribcage, but boy oh boy does it ever swell up. Your tongue will feel like a whale in your mouth and you will talk like Sylvester The Cat for 2 or 3 weeks.
If you are a person who chews gum, nibbles at hard candy, etc, maybe a tongue piercing isn't for you. It's right there in the middle of your mouth all the time and you will be constantly tempted to click it against your teeth, play with it with your tongue, and so on. If you don't have the iron self-discipline to NOT do this, you are going to end up with costly dental damage.
If you take the tongue appliance out, the hole will grow closed in 30 minutes OR LESS, so you have to carry a spare appliance with you at all times. If you ever have surgery, you will have to locate a surgical Teflon or other non-metallic non-reactive appliance to wear during the procedure ... or it will grow closed. And the re-piercing is every bit as unpleasant as the original.
However, if you pride yourself on having a talented mouth, the tongue appliance will add to your mouth's repertoire. Am I being clear without being smutty?

Tongue peircings are actually the quickest healing piercings. They'll be good in about 4 wks. Ur tongue may swell the first day or two, but by the end of the first week you'll be okay. Some say it doesn't hurt, but it did get a little uncomfortable for me. It feels like a really hard pinch, but its bearable. Sorry I'm not experienced w/ the clit thing lol

A lip piercing does not hurt at all. I went with my brother and made him hold my hand. When they pierced it, I was like let my hand go lol. It fells like a pinch....and to think about it, not even a pinch. I was freaking out for nothing! :) It was just a little numb like a day or two. A 10 year old can bare it. That's how much it didn't hurt!

My sister-in-law and I got our tongues done together and she said hers felt just like bee sting, hers did not swell too bad. Mine was hard for her to get the actual needle to go through and it didn't really hurt you kind of get that I've started it and have to finish so just take it feeling, mine swelled pretty bad since there was more trama done during the procedure. I don't regret getting it but 1yr 1/2 later I had scar tissue push its way through the hole and had to remove it and now I have a chunck of scar tissue that has to be romoved.
