Loving someone isn't stupid. Unfortunately, most of us can't turn it off like a light switch, so we're stuck in misery mode after they've already moved on. I don't know your situation, but I'm going through the same thing, and I just keep reminding myself that it doesn't mean he's a bad person. Or that you're a bad person. Good people aren't alway so good together, though. It sucks and there's nothing anyone can do or say to make you feel better. Just keep on truckin, and some day you'll wake up think " What the F*** am I even sad about?"

No Sweetie, you are not stupid, just in love and sometimes they feel like kind of the same thing don't they? Been there done that and bought the T-shirt. What you really need to do is realize that there's nothing you can do about it except accept it for what it was and what it is and grieve. Grieve for the relationship, cry, call your girls, talk to Mom, write out your feelings in a journal, cry some more and let it all out.
I had a boyfriend who was mean to me and dumped me and it devastated me, I compared every guy to him and I closed myself off. Then one day, I met "Mr. Right", I let him in and you know what? We have been married for 18 years, together for 27 and never broke up. Get it out of your system, think of it like a death, when someone dies you cry, you scream but in the end you have no control over it and you eventually accept the fact.
Don't date anyone until you have come to terms with this, when you are right with you. Be positive, don't think there is something wrong with you, it was one of those things. Once you are strong he may see that and respect you for it and you will be ready for the one who's been waiting for you since the day you were born. The one who will never let you go, who will treasure you, love you and hold you close.
Get some counseling, talk to people, let it go, as they say, "Let go and let God".
Good luck honey, keep the people who love you around you like a fortress, who will protect and love you for the human being that you are.

Never say that about your self ever. In a relationship one always loves the other more so I guess that one was you. Life goes on and love just don't disappear because you have broken up with him. A broken heart takes time to heal so give yourself the time you need and stop calling yourself stupid love gets to the best of us sometimes....

Your not stupid. So don't feel that way. It hurts to lose someone you really care about. Its like a punch in the stomach. But with time it will pass. So, keep your head up. And know that you are special and beautiful. Good luck.

Actually its his loss, but ask God to pick out the next guy! You'll see the difference! This guy did you a favor, and I am happy for you to be free. All of us women love hard and we've been there at one time or another, I wish I could show you the future cause for sure you will be happier!

You're not stupid, if you didn't still love him or miss him then you were never in love with him in the first place. That's his loss and you can do better.

Since your about 14 i would assume you really werent in love with him, you were just infatuated. Life goes on. Oh yes and to answer your question if this feeling goes on for more than a week or two you are stupid.

ur not stupid at all... i know exactly how u feel, i still love my ex and he broke up with me some time last week... i cried myself to sleep alot but i soon realized he wasn't worth it. it's his lost im sure you'll find better.
