I lost my virginity when I was 12, so I understand. The first thing you should do is get on the Pill. And, please, use a condom *correctly** when you finally do have sex. Most young boys don't have enough experience to put a condom on correctly. So learn how to use a condom and learn everything you can about sex before you actually do it. And do it with a boy that's 2 to 5 years older than you....good luck!

To say that you just wanna lose it is bad. There is no rush and honestly no 13/14/15/16/17 year old boy has a clue as to what he's doing in bed. It would be absolute s**t for you. Wait until someone you like comes along and you just feel like you want to be closer to that guy. I'm not lecturing and saying that you must have been going out with him for a certain length or time or anything. But just wait until it feels right. An you won't have to ask a question like this because it will just make sense to you. I lost mine at 15 (just shy of 16) to a guy that later became my boyfriend. But I just knew that the time was right for me.
No one can tell you what to do or how you feel, go with your own gut feeling. But just make sure that you take every precaution possible when you do decide to have sex.
Also just remember, every girl wants to tame the towns player, but no guy wants to date the town slut.
Quick note... for all those that say you should wait until your married, they have just taken it to the other extreme. Sex isn't something to be ashamed about nor thought of as taboo outside of marriage. Do what feels right and you wont go wrong. But if I were you I would just wait a couple of years. Boys gossip as much as girls and junior high is filled with gossip, don't acquire a reputation that you will not lose until college. It will make you miserable.

Oh girl - slow down!!!!! You're 13, you shouldn't be worrying about stuff like that!!! Once you lose it, you can NEVER get it back again, and the worst thing you can do is lose to the wrong person which you may end up doing if you rush. You have so many more important things to be thinking about at your age, and this isn't one of them.
Please just be content in being young, and don't fixate on trying to be an adult - trust me, when you are an adult you'll wish you were young again, and then you'll regret having wished your time away!!!!!

It has nothing to do with being ready or using protection and all that other stuff. Yes it not good. Like some said there will be consequences, but think about this. It's your wedding night( if you plan on getting married) and you are sooo in love with him and he is with you. He says that your the first and he's waited for you his whole life. Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could say that he is your first to?? I know that in today's world guys like that are hard to come by, but be the girl that that kind of guy looks for and I promise you it will be worth the wait.

So doesn't every other 13 year old! You should wait until you are mature enough!! You are very young and still have a full life ahead of you! You can't get it back..so be careful with what u do!

yea it is bad i am 14 years old n i know wut can happen i aint a hoe and like wait until ur a lil older not married just older ok trust me theres alot of consequnces n u will regret it wait 2 lose it 2 some1 that u really love n not just anybody cuz datz just A HOE

I am 13 too and I am no hoe. That is terrible. It is like kissing. Once you start you want more.... lol. You need to be like me and wait till you are older. Not married but older!!!!

naah..you are too young to have sex...even though you want to..i am not telling you to wait till you get married or so..but dont do this randomly..i guess around 3-4 years of fooling around should come before you take that plunge..else you'll regret it

Yes that is way too young, live your life without sex. Wait until your old enough to at least do it legally. Sex is not always the cure.
