I like some of his songs, but on the whole I don't consider myself a fan. I don't know what his religion is, so if I tried to answer it would be pure speculation.
I don't see the correlation between lack of religion and musical taste. Frankly, I don't think Marilyn Manson would have sold as many albums in the US as he has if some Christians didn't feel that way too. It's just music, and has nothing to do with a person's belief system (except maybe where musical taste is concerned).

He sounded quite reasonable in his brief interview in the documentary 'bowling for columbine' but I don't like his music, and he's certainly an oddball. He sounded quite intelligent so I suspect he's an atheist, could be wrong.
When a teenager goes nuts and shoots up a school there's a good chance they'll listen to music like Marilyn Manson - this is correlation, not causation. His music is for people angry at the system, feeling oppressed by school, church and parents. I don't think he's anymore guilty than George Bush, who is directly responsible for a huge amount of pointless bloodshed. Exactly the parallel Mr Manson himself made.

I have no idea what his religion is
but does that matter?
and how exactly is my being Wiccan (or just non-christian) supposed to effect my musical taste?
Yes, I like some of his music. Some of it is over-rated, and some of it is under-rated. all in all it's a pretty decent balance when looked at as a whole.

He seems like a down to earth guy.
I'm not a fan, but I saw a clip of an interview once and I was really impressed by his answer.
Q-If you could have talked to the columbine kids before the shooting what would you have said.
A-I wouldn't have said anything, I would of listened, as it seems like that is what no one was doing for these kids.
He's not religious, agnostic or atheist.

He has a few good songs and I don't believe in Satan but Manson is still a moron for dumping Dita Von Teese for a girl half his age.
No I'm not a big Manson fan.

Great? No, I think he's a good musician and some of his songs are really well-composed and catchy. He's a very good song-writer. I could not possibly care less what his religion is.
